About Rosie
Rosie is a mentor, facilitator and communications consultant specialising in the area of mental health & health and wellness. She is the author of The Excellence Book (WHSmith’s Book of the Month) & The Early Career Book (shortlisted for Best Short Book at the UK Business Book Awards 2025) and has given talks on them at Southampton and London Met Universities.
She is on the marketing advisory board for Help 4 Heroes and has been interview by BBC Radio 4 and Authority Magazine.
She is currently advising the Department of Health and Social Care on the latest amendment to the Mental Health Bill.
Mentoring
Rosie has mentored hundreds of people; working with those in the first 10 years of their career as well as business owners. Mentoring is tailored to the individual, but typically conversations are about growth, strategies - both personal and professional - confidence building, and taking steps to get to where you want to be.
Training
Working with Expert Advice to train companies on topics like; How to navigate and use stress; How to have a point of view, Strategic thinking, Idea generation and Presentation skills. A full list of which is here.
Communications
Rosie has worked in the communications and marketing industry for 20 years. She has 19 industry awards to her name, one of which is the world-renowned Young Cannes Lions Award – winning Silver – which was the first time the UK won a place in its 20-year history. She has been non-exec director of a production company, a top biller in creative partnerships at Metro newspaper, and worked in partnership with Google.
She has been an affiliate consultant to King's College London for the last 5 years, helping them to set up and run Impact and Communications strategies and plans for several mental health research centres; King's College Military Health Centre, NHS CHECK, Advance Choice, Centre for Society and Mental Health & London Centre for Work and Health - including but not limited to the creation of branding, positioning, messaging, business objectives, communications strategy and plans, website creation, social media strategy and management, Impact strategies, events and partnerships.
Facilitation
Rosie facilitates boards and workshops including the Exco board at Havas (a 1000+ strong media and creative company), McKenzie Intelligence Services, Heineken, Centre for Society and Mental Health, NHS CHECK, Royal College of Nurses, UKRI Population Health Improvement.
Courses and skills
Rosie has worked in the is currently undertaking a Certified Non-Exec Director Course. She has previously taken a course with esteemed Wesleyan University in Social Psychology: profile is here. She has also taken an MBA course with NEXT MBA, which specialises in the marketing sector.
